What are the exchange limits for BTC?
We set the minimum to cover the network fee essential for completing the transaction. If your amount falls below this threshold, you’ll see a corresponding message to alert you.
Please be aware that the amount you send must be equal to or greater than the specified minimum, taking into account the network fee. For example, if you send us 0.0015 BTC (min), and a commission of 0.0003 BTC is deducted from this sum, we will receive only 0.0012 BTC, which is below the minimum. In such cases, the transaction will not go through.
As for maximum limits, they vary based on the exchange rate you select: fixed or floating. Highly liquid pairs like BTC/ETH allow us to exchange nearly unlimited amounts of cryptocurrency at a floating rate. However, transactions conducted at fixed rates have limitations because we need to account for and mitigate risks.
Last but not least, remember to consider your wallet fee when making transactions. If you need to adjust the amount during the exchange, there’s no need to start the transaction over again. Simply ensure you meet the required minimum, and we’ll proceed with the exchange at the current rate.
What fees are associated with exchanging BTC?
During the exchange, the final displayed amount already includes two types of fees:
- Exchange fee of 0.25%
- Network fee: This fee is variable and goes to miners for processing the transaction. Its value depends on the current network congestion.
How long does it take to process a BTC exchange?
The processing time for BTC exchanges is usually between 10 to 40 minutes. That said, in cases of blockchain congestion, it may take longer than usual.
Is KYC required for exchanging BTC?
Starting the exchange does not necessitate passing the KYC procedure. Nevertheless, if our risk-scoring system raises any concerns about your transaction, we may request identity verification. We aim to strike a balance between providing a seamless exchange experience and ensuring security for all our users.
