Company Background

CILIO Finance was developed in 2019–20 and released in July 2020 by CILIO Innovation Labs Ltd., which is incorporated under the business companies (amendment and consolidation) act, Chapter 149 of the revised laws of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 2009 (Business Company Number: 25739 BC 2020). The CILIO Innovation Labs Ltd. team is a spinoff of MCG Asia Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of a Japanese listed company, with members from a diverse range of backgrounds and countries including China, India, Japan, Australia, and South Korea.


Crypto Lending

CILIO Lend allows users to deposit and earn interest at competitive rates on their cryptocurrency. Users can deposit BTC and earn simple interest in the form of USDT as well as earn compounding interest on ETH, USDT, USDC, and DAI.

Crypto Borrowing

CILIO Borrow offers competitive rates and no fixed payment terms for stablecoin loans. Additionally, locked BTC deposits valued higher than a 65% LTV ratio on the borrowed amount will earn interest in USDT.

Crypto Payments

Instant Pay allows for free, simple, and instantaneous BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, and DAI transactions between CILIO Finance members.


Asset Storage

Assets stored within a user’s CILIO Wallet are securely stored in CYBAVO VAULT. CYBAVO VAULT is a secure digital asset custody and management platform designed to fulfill the needs of financial institutions in terms of security, liquidity and control. CYBAVO VAULT presents a comprehensive security design, offering a high level of protection, combining a highly-secured private key vault with a strong access control and policy enforcement system.

Asset Management

CILIO Lend and CILIO Borrow deposits are used for lending to other CILIO Finance users, with any supplemental idle funds managed via reputable third-party platforms. These platforms include DeFi protocols such as Curve, Compound, Aave, and dYdX, as well as CeFi services such as FTX, Bitfinex, and Nexo. In order to protect the value of a user’s loaned assets, the platform may also additionally hedge the crypto price when assets are being managed in a different cryptocurrency than originally deposited, such as the case with BTC being managed via USDT.
