Request Network is a token built on top of the Ethereum network. Using the platform users can create Request Invoices, which are requests for payment. Request is blockchain agnostic, meaning that it can also switch to a different blockchain if need be.

Request Network (REQ) – A decentralized network which allows anyone to request a payment (a Request invoice) where the recipient is able to pay in a secure way and all the information is stored in a decentralized authentic ledger. This results in a cheaper, easier and more secure payments and allows a wide range of automation possibilities on top of it.

Roadmap
Request aims to make triple entry accounting the new industry standard. Triple entry accounting is a concept first created by Japanese accountant and educator Yuji Ijiri. Triple entry accounting adds a digital signature as a proof of transaction between two parties. Each party can rely on the blockchain to provide a unique accounting source for both parties.
